Overview of Role: 

The Logistics Coordinator (Journeyman) coordinates procurement, delivery, inventory management, and logistics support for network equipment and materials across a multi-site Department of Defense network modernization program. Key responsibilities include managing equipment procurement and delivery scheduling, maintaining inventory of network equipment and spare parts, overseeing shipping and receiving operations, and tracking equipment accountability. The role also involves coordinating equipment staging and kitting at base sites, aligning delivery schedules with installation plans, managing compliance for hazardous material handling, organizing the return and disposal of legacy equipment, and providing logistics status reporting to program management. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Coordinates procurement, delivery, inventory management, and logistics support for network equipment and materials across a multi-site DoD network modernization program. Manages equipment procurement coordination and delivery scheduling; maintains inventory of network equipment and spare parts; oversees shipping and receiving operations; tracks government-furnished and contractor-procured equipment accountability; coordinates equipment staging and kitting at base sites; aligns delivery schedules with installation look-ahead plans; manages hazardous material handling compliance; coordinates the return and disposal of legacy equipment; and provides logistics status reporting to program management. 

Educational and Certification Requirement:  

3 to 10 years’ experience and a B.A./B.S.  

DoD supply chain/logistics experience; GFE/GFP accountability; federal procurement procedures 

Must have an Active Secret Clearance
