Overview of Role:   

The Applications Developer will be responsible for development, maintenance, enhancement, and troubleshooting of the RCPAMS software platform. This position will implement technical solutions, resolve issues, and contribute to the overall system enhancement and stability through code development and system configuration. 

Role and Responsibilities:  

* Develop, enhance, and maintain the RCPAMS platform applications and services 

* Troubleshoot, identify, and correct issues at the direction of the Government 

* Implement approved changes, upgrades, and patches to the system 

* Maintain COTS software through regular patching and version upgrades 

* Develop system reports and implement data extraction solutions 

* Support testing activities including operational testing and user acceptance testing 

* Maintain development, test, and production environments 

* Assist with implementing security controls and remediating vulnerabilities 

* Document code changes, architecture decisions, and system configurations 

* Implement Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) 

* Collaborate with the Technical Lead to ensure system availability requirements are met 

* Support disaster recovery and continuity of operations testing 

* Develop technical documentation and training materials 

Educational and Certification Requirements:   

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Technology Development, or related discipline required 

* Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or equivalent preferred 

* 8+ years of relevant experience with large technology systems in Enterprise IT/Federal Agency environments 

* 5+ years of experience using a management methodology (PMP, AgilePM, etc.) 

* 5+ years of experience designing and developing solutions with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platforms 

* 5+ years technical proficiency with web languages and frameworks (HTML, ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, CSS) 

* 5+ years technical proficiency with SQL (database queries, batch jobs, stored procedures) 

* 10+ years developing data-driven web applications 

* 5+ years of experience administering AWS, Sage CRM, Windows Server, IIS, Tomcat, SQL, and relevant development languages 

* 5+ years of experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) 

* Active SECRET clearance with T5 investigation required at contract start (with T5 Investigation completed or in progress)
