Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The System Administrator/Task Lead will serve as a critical member of our IT team, providing comprehensive technical support and leadership within the National Capital Region. This role encompasses the responsibilities of maintaining, upgrading, and managing the software, hardware, and networks, as well as overseeing a team of IT professionals to ensure efficient and effective task execution in support of our organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft System Administration in an enterprise environment, including Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and Visual Basic Scripting
  • 4+ years of experience leading tasks of a similar size/scope
  • 4+ years of experience with the following IT disciplines:
    • Security configuration of Windows Server/Windows 10 and/or Windows 11
    • Microsoft SCCM or similar technologies
    • Maintaining PKI Infrastructure
    • Implementing and managing VDI Infrastructure
    • Server Virtualization Technologies
Preferred; 3-years’ experience with Vormetric data encryption solutions.

EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • A bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Required Certifications:
One of the following DoD 8570.01M baseline certifications:
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Continuing Education (CE),
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),
  • or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
Required Computing Environment Certifications listed below:
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
AND one of the following:
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Core Infrastructure,
  • or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
Security:
  • TOP SECRET w/ SCI Eligible security clearance
