ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Network Engineer at NSGB will play an essential role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure within the naval base. This position requires a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional who can design, implement, and oversee both wired and wireless communication systems. The Network Engineer will ensure the secure and reliable operation of networks that are vital to the base's strategic communication and operational effectiveness.
The Network Engineer at NSGB will be a critical asset in ensuring the secure and efficient operation of the base's network infrastructure. This role demands a proactive and knowledgeable individual who is committed to maintaining high standards of network performance and security in support of the base's mission-critical operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
At least one of the following DoD 8570.01M baseline certifications:
TOP SECRET w/ SCI Eligible security clearance

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience delivering tasks of a similar size/scope.
- A bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
At least one of the following DoD 8570.01M baseline certifications:
- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Continuing Education (CE), or International Information Systems Security Certifications Consortium (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise
